Donor Named & Donor Designated Funds

Ways to give to the Foundation include establishment of Donor Named or Donor Designated Funds. Please contact us to discuss how to make your dreams for our Catholic community a reality.

• Donor Named Fund – A gift that is given in a family, company name, in memory of a loved one, or in a name created by the donor. Named funds require a minimum total contribution of $10,000.
  • Donor Named Funds currently established in the Foundation include the following:
    • Ron & Joan Griffith Fund – Established to support the operation and programs of Our Lady of the Lake Parish
    • Rosie McDowell Fund – Established to advance Catholic education in the Holland/Zeeland area by supporting the operation and programs of Corpus Christi Catholic School

• Donor Designated Fund – The donor specifies how the gift is to be used. Some examples include scholarships, facilities, equipment, programs, teacher positions, or specific ministries. Designated Funds require a minimum total contribution of $25,000.
  • Donor Designated Funds currently established in the Foundation include the following:
    • My Little Angel, Faith Fund – Established to provide tuition assistance at Corpus Christi Catholic School for a child from St. Francis de Sales, selected with the cooperation of the Principal at Corpus Christi and the Pastor at St. Francis de Sales.
    • Marie Fellers Fund – Established to advance Catholic education in the Holland/Zeeland area by supporting the operation and programs of Corpus Christi Catholic School.
    • Fred L. & Maria D. Cyr Scholarship Fund – Established to provide tuition assistance for students at Corpus Christi Catholic School.
    • Evangelium Vitae Fund – Established to recognize the incomparable worth of the human person. Annual distributions from the fund support Corpus Christi Catholic School by providing need based scholarship funds with an emphasis on supporting families that have multiple enrolled children. In addition, the fund seeks to financially support the school’s efforts to foster inclusivity by allowing the children of God, regardless of any specific learning difficulties or barriers, to be given every opportunity to reach their full promise.
    • The Teacher Appreciation Fund – Established by a group of generous donors to recognize payrolled Corpus Christi Catholic School teachers and staff with an annual bonus in appreciation for their dedicated service.  We are so grateful for these teachers and staff who continue to give so much of themselves to our students as examples of Christ.
